CORMASTER® CN1 honeycombs, made from KEVLAR® N636 paper, are ideally suited for use in the aerospace industry and everywhere else where maximum performance coupled with reduced weight is a chief requirement. Excellent strength and stiffness allow use of lower density cores in the structural sandwich applications.

CORMASTER® CN1

CORMASTER® CN1 are non-metallic structures made from para-aramid N636 DuPont® paper sheets, bonded together and coated with a phenolic resin. The cell size and density determine the mechanical characteristics.


Cell sizes from 3.2 to 9.6 mm (0.13 to 0.38 inches)
Density range from 24 to 144 kg/m³ (1.50 to 8.99 lb/ft3)
